The SFBAA will be hosting its final General Membership Meeting of 2025 on Tuesday, September 30th in Fort Lauderdale. The meeting will be taking place at the National Jets FBO at the Fort Lauderdale International Airport (FLL) from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
After the great feedback from last year, we are excited to announce we are having another Panel Discussion in hopes of providing an interactive and informative experience benefiting all facets of our membership. The theme will be "Hot Topics in Business Aviation." We are pleased to announce our panelists:
Katie DeLuca Katie is a partner and the chair of the aviation practice group at Harper Meyer LLP with an international aviation practice concentrated on business aircraft. She has given several presentations on the recent tariff implementations and is going to share her subject knowledge with the group. Katie will discuss the complex and ever-changing landscape of tariffs and their impact on on our industry. John Gabriel John is the Director of Safety at Corporate Aviation and a seasoned pilot, as well as the President of the Connecticut BizAv Group. Given the recent series of high-profile incidents, safety is a paramount issue in business aviation today. He will be speaking about hot-topic safety issues and discuss how business aviation can implement proactive strategies to enhance safety culture and mitigate risks. Michael Pellegrino Michael is a decorated former police detective who has created a non-profit to provide hope, positivity, and practical tools for professionals dealing with the stressors of a demanding life. Mental Health is a long-stigmatized issue, but relevant to our entire membership. We are excited to have Michael bring his expertise on the topic into our panel discussion and provide some best strategies that can be implemented in the cockpit, at work, and into our everyday lives.
