The SFBAA will be hosting its next "Target Breakfast" on Thursday, May 15, in Fort Lauderdale. The breakfast will be taking place at the Jet Runway Cafe at the Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (FXE) from 8:00 am to 10:00 am.
The topic of this breakfast is Sustainability.
We are excited to present Kennedy Ricci as our guest speaker. Kennedy will explore the emergence and importance of sustainability in aviation, talk about what a flight department needs to do in order to be prepared to avoid new penalties, and how to lead in light of the new challenges that sustainability will bring. Kennedy serves as the President of 4AIR, which offers expertise and guidance for creating meaningful and comprehensive sustainability programs focused on aviation. With his background in business aviation, he launched 4AIR to create programs that cater to the industry's unique needs while promoting transparency and making sustainability more accessible. These programs can include carbon offsets, new sustainable fuels, and even research around new technologies. Kennedy is a passionate, commercial-rated general aviation pilot and has a degree from the University of Notre Dame.
