DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla., Oct. 12, 2015 - The South Florida Business Aviation Association (SFBAA) will represent South Florida at the state’s first-ever General Aviation Caucus.

“The SFBAA proud to represent South Florida at the first General Aviation Caucus,” said Jeff Ramsden, SFBAA president. “It’s important that we do our part to help educate our legislators on the many benefits of business aviation to the state of Florida.”

The Florida General Aviation Caucus will take place in Tallahassee on Thursday, October 22, 2015 from 11:15 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.

General aviation represents a more than $7.7 billion dollar a year business for the state of Florida. The new General Aviation Caucus will create a forum in which this industry can promote the value of general aviation among Florida public officials.

The SFBAA, the Florida Aviation Business Association (FABA), the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA), the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA), the Florida Airports Council (FAC) and others representing aviation in Florida will be attending the caucus.
