The SFBAA is hosting a target breakfast geared towards Pilots on Tuesday, August 28th from 8-10am at the Jet Runway Cafe (located at the Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (FXE)). All members are welcome to join us for a complimentary breakfast and an exciting guest speaker, Jack Jackson.

Jack Jackson is the most experienced Harrier pilot in the world, having logged 5,300 hours in the Boeing AV-8B.  Jack began his aviation career in the US Marine Corp during the Vietnam era, having flown over 600 combat missions. He is a highly decorated veteran, and is the recipient of four Distinguished Flying Crosses, 33 Air Medals, Navy Commendation Medal (with combat V), a host of campaign medals and, most recently, the Legion of Merit for Service to His Country.

After retiring from the military in 1977 he became a test pilot for Boeing, testing virtually every type of U.S. fighter aircraft as well as two Russian fighters, accumulating over 10,000 flight hours.  In 1996, until his retirement in 2004, Jack served as Boeing's Chief Test Pilot for Production.  He will be speaking about his long aviation career and some of his fascinating experiences flying the unique Harrier Jet, among others.
