1st General Membership Meeting of 2018

Our first General Membership Meeting of the year will be taking place on Thursday, March 22 from 6 to 8pm at the National Jets FBO at the Fort Lauderdale International Airport (FLL). We are pleased to welcome Pete Agur as our headline speaker.

Pete Agur is the Chairman and Founder of The VanAllen Group. Pete has been providing business aviation consulting services for more than 30 years. Prior to that he worked as the marketing manager and sales representative for four airframe manufacturers, as an instructor pilot in airline, civil & military environments, and as an Army aviator & safety officer during the Vietnam era. Pete is a Certified Aviation Manager (CAM) by the NBAA and has been the flight Safety Foundation's Corporate Advisory Committee's Vice-Chairman. He has also been a frequent contributor to Fortune magazine and many aviation related journals & magazines.

Pete will be speaking to us about "The Power of Personal Professionalism" and what he has learned throughout his long aviation career. He will also be talking about proven practices for dealing with one of our most insidious threats to safety: personal inaction. His goal is to instill in all attendees the powerful skill of being a proactive activist for safety and guarantees to be an entertaining and captivating speaker.
