The SFBAA is pleased to welcome Wendy Robinson Fernsell as the headline speaker for our next General Membership Meeting. The meeting will be held at National Jets at the Fort Lauderdale International Airport (FLL) on Thursday, September 8th from 5:30 to 8pm.
Nick Popovich was scheduled to attend but had to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances. Wendy is one of three surviving crew members from Delta Flight 191 that crashed on landing in Dallas-Fort Worth on August 2, 1985.
Wendy will be speaking about her experience on Flight 191. She describes herself as a survivor, not a hero. Her story is one of triumph, not tragedy. She is now a wife, mother and teacher in Palm Beach.
Cocktails and Hors d'oeuvres will be provided by Silver Lining.
