Coming to the Organization having worked with National Jets, Wyvern, Avinode/SchedAero, Dassault Falcon Jet and STS Component Solutions; Christopher has served the SFBAA Board since 2012 as an executive member and a year prior as an associate member. Bringing expertise in the technology sector of private charter and flight operations software Chris assists with organizing SFBAA General Membership Meetings, the Annual Charity Golf Tournament and assisting the Board President as matters arise.
Anna joined the SFBAA Board this year as a Member Rep after being an active member of the organization since 2010. Working as an aviation insurance broker with Lundy & Clark Insurance Group she provides personalized aviation insurance and risk management to the business aviation community. Anna is looking forward to directly working with members of the organization on how the SFBAA can provide educational and professional development for all members through our events and networking opportunities.
Forrest is a practicing aviation lawyer for SaavedraGoodwin and has served as Treasurer since 2012. Mr. Owens’ practice concentrates on aircraft and aviation related transactions, cross-border transactions, airman defense before the FAA and Department of Transportation, airport real estate and land use, and civil litigation. Mr. Owens joined SG in 2015 and leads the aviation practice group under the trade name Global Aviation Counsel, LLC.
Derek has been a part of the SFBAA since 2012 and has worked in the Private Jet charter brokering industry since 2011 both in Monaco and South Florida. The SFBAA has helped Derek open doors and get to know the local industry and the people around it. Derek brings a view point from the side of charter sales and a history in event planning and coordination, which he hopes to carry over to help the SFBAA expand its membership base. His passion and enthusiasm are a welcomed addition to the Executive Board.
Florida grown and formally known as William J Wing III to some and Will Wing to others in a less formal setting. William graduated from Florida Institute of Technology in 2012 with a Bachelors of Science in Aviation Management, his commercial multi-engine pilots license, and a minor concentration of Air Traffic Control. Immediately following college, William he moved to Scottsdale, Az. where he dove head first into the world of business aviation with Tempus Jets; working with a variety of fleet aircraft from Pilatus PC12s to Bombardier Global Express. William built up his aviation knowledge and experience as a charter coordinator before returning back to sunny Florida to eventually become the Director of Charter Sales & Marketing for Gold Aviation where he currently resides.
Hugo is an aviation enthusiast, having been part of the industry since 2001. He is the current FBO Account Manager for the Southeastern US & Central Canada for UVair, a division of Universal Weather and Aviation. He has been a part of Universal Weather since 2007, and previously worked for Miami Executive Aviation. He is a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University where he specialized in Professional Aeronautics and Aviation Management.
